You make your way to the Silver Tree Hotel to find, what you hope, will be the final victim, and to bring an end to this insane game. You have your doubts, however. Why should you believe The Clock Winder will stop at seven (7) murders; or that he will reveal his name at the end of this; or that you will be able to catch him even if he does give you his name? But you block these thoughts from your head. The only thing you can do is focus on the task at hand. When you arrive, the concierge working the front desk seems to be expecting you. He looks extremely nervous: his skin is drained of all its color; he is breathing heavily despite his attempts to conceal it; his eyes are wide with fright; and when he speaks you detect a quaver in his voice. "R..r..room 405” he stutters as he slides a key at you. “What’s the matter? What happened? Who told you I was coming?” You hammer him with these questions reflexively. He stares at you with terror in his eyes and simply shakes his head side-to-side before disappearing through the Employees Only door behind the front desk. A cold chill runs up and down your spine for the entire elevator ride. The elevator chimes at the fourth floor and the doors open. You approach door number 405 with hesitancy.
Since this is supposedly the last victim, you have no idea what to expect behind this door. You take a deep breath and close your eyes, then swipe the keycard and push the door open. When you open your eyes, you are surprised. The room is serene and immaculate. Not a item out of place. Except, of course, for the body draped across the bed in a fashion similar to the previous six victims. He is cloaked in black with a black circle painted on the sheets around him (diagram below). Again, his arms are outstretched and there is an envelope next to his head. The man is later identified as Edgar Yew. He was a concierge at this very hotel; you now realize why the concierge you met on your way in was so fear-stricken. You just want this nightmare to be over. You may now open Envelope Victim # 7 Evidence.
