It is fortunate you solved The Clock Winder’s most recent challenge when you did. It has allowed youto arrive at The Oaks Herald’s headquarters around 10:00 pm, which is one of its only quiet times: everyone has gone home for the night and no one has arrived to start printing the next day’s paper yet. This gives you the opportunity to investigate the grounds unimpeded. After gaining access to the building, you make your way to the press room - not because you think you’ll find anything, but rather because you’ve always been interested in seeing the enormous printing presses in person. To your surprise, however, when you arrive at the giant press room you see something that has become disturbingly familiar, though no less abhorrent: a body. The scene is an all-too-recognizable pattern by now. The victim is cloaked in white and, like the three victims before him, has his arms outstretched. The police later identify this victim as Richard Pinehurst, a talented young reporter for The Herald.
There is something especially chilling about this discovery, however. You realize The Clock Winder is watching you. There is no way the body could have been placed in such a central location, during working hours, without being noticed and reported. That means the body must have been placed recently. Which also means The Clock Winder somehow knew when you cracked the puzzle revealing The Herald location. The thought of The Clock Winder having eyes on you makes you incredibly uneasy, but you must press on. You will bring this psycho to justice! You may now open Envelope Victim #4 Evidence.
